Arsene Wenger unworried by Fabregas’ Future

Arsene Wenger unworried by Fabregas' FutureArsenal manager Arsene Wenger says there has been no developments concerning Barcelona’s interest in Fabregas.

The Gunners’ captain Fabregas has been continuously linked with a move to La Liga champions Barcelona over the past few months, with Barcelona offering 35 million euros for the Spaniard only to see Arsenal reject it, and refuse to talk about the matter.

Barcelona board spokesman Toni Freixa has already claimed that Arsenal are simply not willing to discuss the possibility of a deal.

Arsene Wenger who can always said that he would not accept to see Fabregas move to Spain this summer has said that although Barcelona are still knocking on his door, he will not open it… at least for now.

He is quoted as saying by The Sun:

“There are still noises from Barcelona, but that is all it is. In our job you don’t worry about things you cannot control.”

“We are very happy with Cesc at the club. He is a very important player and is our captain. We have worked very hard with him.”
