Arsenal have been handed a massive boost ahead of Stoke City clash as Arsene Wenger confirmed star players have returned from injury.

The Gunners suffered a 3-2 defeat at the hands of the Potters last month and the north London club will face Mark Hughes’ side for the weekend Premier League clash at the Emirates on Sunday.

The star midfield duo of Mesut Ozil and Aaron Ramsey were sidelined along with Mathieu Flamini have all returned to training.

“The team news is that Ramsey (hamstring) is back in training, Ozil (knee) is back in training and Flamini (groin) is back in training,” Wenger told during his pre-match press conference on Friday.

“We’ve got three players back. Welbeck (thigh) is still not available for Sunday because he is a bit short. Maybe next week he will be available. Giroud is back from suspension. So we have a bigger squad than last week.”

Ozil is likely to be available for the team selection against Stoke and Wenger admitted that he is unsure if the German international will start on Sunday.

” He will have a training session on Friday with the squad. He will certainly be available for selection on Sunday. Will I start him or not? I haven’t decided yet,” Arsenal manager concluded.

With key players returning to full training, Wenger and the Gunners will be hoping that they could put their disappointing defeat against Southampton behind them and seal a three points against Stoke in front of the home fans.
