Arsenal showed great resilience and ability to fight back, once again, as they drew 2-2 against Everton at Goodison Park, after going 2-0 down at half time.

Arsene Wenger started without Olivier Giroud, who made the big difference after coming on as sub, and used Alexis Sanchez in the false nine role. The experiment last 45 minutes only!

Wenger is too stubborn at times and there is every possibility that he might not sign any striker at all this summer. But he might lose another forward option, with widespread report suggesting that German international Lukas Podolski is all set to leave Arsenal this summer.

Podolski joined the Gunners from German club FC Koln in 2012. Despite impressing in bits and parts role with an enviable goal-ratio, he has failed to establish himself as a regular in the Gunners’ side with Wenger often has deployed him out-of-position.

GDM recently claimed that new Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri wants a new striker at the club, and the German is said to be at the top of his wish-list.

Today Bild claim that Podolski’s future is all but over at Arsenal. The 29-year-old could move to Serie A while a move to USA with New York City FC cannot be ruled out either.

He might also return to Germany with Bundesliga outfits VfL Wolfsburg and FC Cologne are thought to be interested.
