Atlético Madrid forward, Antoine Griezmann, has expressed his desire to play alongside Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba at club level in the future.

Manchester United are one of the many clubs that are reportedly interested to sign Griezmann next summer as José Mourinho seeks to bolster his attacking options.

Griezmann told Sky Sport News in Germany:

I always ask Paul Pogba about Manchester United.

I think they are a huge club with a really good infrastructure. I ask Paul about some of the players, and if they’re really that good, or if José Mourinho is really that good.

You hear a lot of things [speculation] about Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain but right now I don’t see me moving to a new club. But it would be awesome to play alongside Paul one day.

Since joining Atlético from Real Sociedad in 2014, Griezmann has taken his game to a whole new level. What he has added extra to his game is goals. In his previous two seasons, he has scored 57 goals for Atlético in all competitions, and this season he has racked up eight goals already.

It comes as no surprise why big clubs are ready to shell out big money for him. He is frequently linked with a move to Paris Saint-Germain, while there has been a reported interest from Premier League giants Chelsea as well, although any potential suitors would have to shell out in the region of €100m for his signature.

It is quite clear that Griezmann is delivering a come-and-get-me plea and the presence of Pogba could help United lure the Atlético forward to Old Trafford.
