The young Spanish midfielder says Van Gaal is a strong character to whom every single player in the team has equal merit.
Ander: “I keep my distance with Van Gaal, but he’s a good guy with a strong character. He believes we’re all the same in the dressing room.”

Herrera, who excelled under Marcelo Bielsa at Athletic Bilbao says Van Gaal is opposite to his former manager in his philosophy and outlook.

Herrera adds that Van Gaal likes prolonged possession and believes in creating spaces while staying at the right place.
