Liverpool take on AFC Wimbledon in an FA Cup tie at the Kingsmeadow tonight. The Reds have already made it to the Semi finals of the Capital One Cup and will be looking to continue their good performances in the domestic cup competitions by securing a win against the Wombles.

The Reds are set to welcome back defender Dejan Lovren who started training last week. Defender Martin Skrtel is also back from suspension. Controversial forward Mario Balotelli is yet to assessed, following his withdrawal from the squad against Leicester with an injury.

Liverpool are set to start captain Steven Gerrard who played 90 minutes in a 2-2 draw against Leicester City, at Anfield last week. Further, the likes of Adam Lallana and Raheem Sterling who have been used extensively so far this season, are likely to be rested.

Meanwhile, Wimbledon will be without defenders Jack Smith and Andy Frampton, both of whom will miss out due to injuries.

Former Southampton striker Rickie Lambert looks set to replace Raheem Sterling as the lone striker today. Serbian Lazar Markovic also looks set to return to the starting lineup with Spaniard Alberto Moreno likely to be rested.

This is how we think Brendan Rodgers’ Liverpool will line up today.
