Tottenham

Redknapp had already suggested that he will be pick trophies over handing youth a chance contrary to his counterpart Arsene Wenger, Spurs manager has said:

“There will be lots of changes [in the team].”

Brazilian midfielder Sandro is to be called upon. Moreover, the 21 year old Jake Livermore and the 18 year old Steven Caulker if he’s fit. Third choice goalie Stipe Pletikosa and David Bentley will probably start. Tottenham will be lacking in some of the firepower as Jermaine Defoe is sidelined with a longterm injury.

Arsenal

After being denied at Sunderland, Wenger is poised to make several changes as well. Ignoring the criticism he recieved for not signing a new keeper from pundits, fans and media alike and also ignoring the catalog of mistakes he has made, Wenger will probably feature Lukasz Fabianksi.

Captain Cesc Fabregas is now sidelined with a hamstring problem. While defender Johan Djourou is set to make his first appearance of the season. Emmanuel Eboue, Kieran Gibbs and Carlos Vela are all set to be deployed and chances are the promising youth Jay Emmanuel-Thomas will play.

Arsenal have already had a very good start in the English Premier League and the UEFA Champions League and fans will be hoping that the six year trophy drought will come to an end this year.

With that said, Arsene Wenger is banned from the touchline as he has accepted the charges put on him by the FA after his misconduct with the match officials at the end of the Sunderland game.
