Soccerlens TV: Wenger & Benitez speaking out, OM in French title race and Sporting improving in Portugal

Join celebrated football pundit, author, radio show host and DJ Andy Brassell every Monday on the Soccerlens Show.

In Episode 18, Andy talks about the speaking out of Arsene Wenger on the controversial tackle of the Stoke City defender Ryan Shawcross on the 19 year old Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey and how Rafael Benitez sarcastically taunted Blackburn by saying that Barcelona will adopt their style of play in the future after Blackburn put up a good show against Liverpool.

Andy moves over to France to take a look on the proceedings in Ligue 1, where the top five on the table are separated by just four points. Bordeaux’s match against Le Mans was postponed due to severe weather conditions and the rest took advantage of it. Montpellier, Lyon and Marseille won their games whereas Lille was already up there. Bordeaux now has two games in hand, Marseille has one and sixth place Auxere has one game in hand and if they win theirs, they will land one point above fifth place Lille.

Andy, then, wraps up the talk with Sporting’s improvement in Protugal Liga.
