Tottenham injury list: Berbatov, Lennon, King, Kaboul, Dawson, Bale, Assou-Ekoto and Young-Pyo. 3 best center-backs, best striker, best winger and 3 left backs. It’s almost bad enough to make people feel bad about Tottenham, but after what happened in pre-season I don’t think any non-Spurs fan is feeling the least bit charitable.
Tottenham have been the subject of some ridiculous rumours as a result of their injuries and 2 defeats, but regardless of what the press is saying, Tottenham have a game to win against Derby and the players are likely to fight for their lives here, knowing that defeat will condemn them to scorn previously reserved only for Neil Warnock.
Derby are luckier than most other sides in that they only have one player injured – unfortunately that’s Giles Barnes. Apart from his injury, Derby will go into this game swinging, and they’ll know that as long as they can keep pushing Tottenham back and deny them the time to group and attack, they have a good shot at getting a point or more out of this game.
Ha – don’t even think about it. Tottenham will rise to the occasion, make a meal out of an easy game and then celebrate the relief of their first 3 points from the new season – one where they were supposed to challenge for the Champions League.
Maybe if United drop points, Spurs can fight for their place?
Soccerlens Prediction: Tottenham Hotspur to win.

It is amazing how much money the Spurs spent on the transfer market, but their starting XI didn’t change that much. Jol going to a 4-3-3 the last match surprised me. I don’t think he’ll do that with Berb out, but I like the idea. The problem is the defense which was suspect at best last year. Right now it’s only two games, but looking bad at WHL isn’t supposed to happen. The Spurs should win this game 3-1 (England’s #1 doesn’t get clean sheets anymore).
I couldn’t give two f**ks about tottenham or Ahmed Billal’s (who) opinions. If Derby get the breaks (that they haven’t had in the first two games) they will win the match tomorrow easily. Hopefully that might make the doom and gloom merchants to take us more seriously! Come on you RAMS!
Fuck Tottenham. I hope Derby do what Everton and Sunderland do in the previous two matches. I see all the talk about 4th place has died away! Perhaps they should be targeting 4th from bottom instead! Fucking mugs
Fantastic start – easiest game of the season, but you have to score the goals and Spurs have started really well.
Shame to see the comments above 🙂
Hmmmm yeh spurs sure scraped that one 🙂
