Arsenal star Tomas Rosicky has spoken of his love for the club, and his fierce commitment to winning a trophy this season with the Gunners.
The Czech international, who scored the stunning winner at White Hart Lane on the weekend, put pen to paper over a contract extension last month, and is currently thriving on the hunt for the Premier League title,
“I would love to win a trophy with Arsenal,” Rosicky told Sky Sports,
“This is why I came here and I still believe I can do it here. That’s why I am still here.
“Our win at Spurs may have knocked their challenge for fourth place, but I don’t think like that. My goal is to win the league. I am not looking for a top-four finish – my goal is to win the league.
“I am staying here, I love this club and that was always my goal. It still is and I will give absolutely everything I can to achieve my dreams.”
Arsene Wenger is to take charge of his 1000th game as Gunners boss this weekend, with his side traveling to Stamford Bridge to take on title rivals Chelsea, and Rosicky has heaped praise on the veteran Frenchman,
“It is absolutely unique,” said Rosicky.
“I don’t think that anyone will repeat something like that again. He is a legend for this club.”
