Liverpool forward Suso is finding hard to get regular games at Anfield. The young Spaniard was given a breakthrough by manager Brendan Rodgers in his first season in charge. He was once seen as one of the players for the future, but now it seems like his Liverpool career is almost as good as over.

In September, reliable journalist GDM claimed that AC Milan had tried to sign him up permanently on the transfer deadline day. The Rossoneri since have been taking a great interest in the forward who has a contract till 2015.

Last season, Suso was sent on a season long loan to Almeria where he duly impressed. It was thought that he would be drafted into the senior squad this season, but with Liverpool signing so many new players, his chances of breaking into the first team looks slim.

“My future? I will renew at Liverpool with the guarantee only if I play regularly,” said Suso as quoted by TMW

AC Milan have done few smart loan deals in the summer, having signed Fernando Torres and Maco van Ginkel from Chelsea on temporary basis. In this case, they are looking to sign Suso on a permanent deal.

Rodgers has shown great interest in giving opportunities to youngsters at the club. From that perspective, it would be a shock for many, if Suso is sold for cheap. As it stands, Suso is unlikely to get regular games at Anfield and more likely he will be packing his bags to start a new journey with Milan in January.
