Sheffield are in fine form in recent times as they are unbeaten in last eight matches played in all competitions. It includes five wins and three draws, scoring 12 goals and conceding half of what they scored in the process.

Carlos Carvalhal, the Championship club’s manager will be looking for an upset when they look to defeat the Gunners in the fourth round of the Capital One Cup. In the previous round, Sheffield defeated Premier League outfit Newcastle United 1-0 at St James’ Park.

Arsenal are in impressive run in all competitions as they managed victories over Manchester United, Bayern Munich and Everton in recent times and have maintained clean sheets in all these matches, except one against the Toffees.

Arsene Wenger has seen his side sit second in the league table as they share same points with league leaders Manchester City, with goal difference separating the two sides. In the third round, the Gunners defeated their arch-rivals Tottenham Hotspur 2-1 at White Hart Lane to progress further in the competition.

With their recent form, Arsenal should be considered as the favourites to win the clash. However, Sheffield’s unbeaten run is something the Premier League club should not ignore before getting into the clash.
