Barcelona are expected to soon finalize the transfer of midfielder Arturo Vidal to the Nou Camp after agreeing terms over a  £27 million transfer from Bayern Munich according to the Guardian.

The Blaugrana have been active in this summer’s transfer window and have so far spent more than £100 million to bring in the likes of defender Clement Lenglet and the Brazilian pair of Malcom and Arthur Melo as they look to retain the La Liga crown during the upcoming season.

The 31-year-old Vidal has been with Bayern Munich since 2015 and he has reportedly given permission by the club’s new manager Niko Kovac to leave.

Inter Milan were previously touted as the favorites to capture Vidal but the Italian giants have since turned their attention onto securing the services of World Cup Golden Ball winner Luka Modric who is reportedly open to leaving Los Blancos.

Vidal will bring in a winning mentality to the Camp Nou. During his career so far, he has won four Serie A titles with Juventus and three Bundesliga titles with Bayern Munich.

Internationally, he has also won two Copa America titles with Chile.

The one major trophy which has eluded him is the Champions League and he will be looking to finally win this with Ernesto Valverde’s troops.
