Juventus striker, Paulo Dybala, has attracted a lot of interest from several European giants with his performances in Serie A over the past 12 months.

The Argentine forward is regarded as one of the best young players in his position right now and Real Madrid are apparently interested in his services. Los Blancos have been hit with a transfer ban, and once that is lifted, they will make a move for the South American striker.

Spanish newspaper Sport are claiming that Real Madrid are aware of Juventus’ demands for Dybala and know that the Italian champions will be reluctant to let him go. Therefore, they are willing to offer a world-class player in order to sweeten the deal.

Apparently, that player is James Rodriguez. The report also states that Perez has already gotten in touch with Dybala’s representatives, and the Argentine has decided not to renew his current contract at Juventus. Dybala is tied to Juventus until 2018 and Real Madrid hope to pressure the Italians into a sale next summer.

The Colombian is a world-class winger, and has been linked with a move away from Bernabeu since the end of last season. The player ended up staying at Real Madrid, but is unsettled, and struggling to get regular game time. Sport adds that Juventus are interested in Rodriguez and Real Madrid will use him to lower their €100 million asking price for Dybala.

On paper, the deal makes sense for Real Madrid. Although James is a much more established player than Dybala, the Argentine has the talent to grow into an outstanding player. Furthermore, Real Madrid need a top class striker more than a winger, right now.

Dybala has scored 27 goals in 57 appearances for Juventus since joining them in 2015 and would be a cracking addition for Los Blancos.

Other reports add that Real Madrid could use Morata and Benzema to sweeten the deal as well. Whatever the case, Dybala would be a fantastic signing for Zidane‘s side. And at the price mentioned, Juventus are likely to be happy with the transfer as well. Furthermore, if Dybala refuses to sign a new deal, then they will be forced to sell anyway.
