Iturbe, who is currently on loan at Verona from Portuguese side Porto, has shone this season in Serie A, with his quick feet and effortless dribbling skills leading to inevitable comparisons with compatriot Lionel Messi.

We brought you the news earler this month that Liverpool were looking into the possibility of bringing Iturbe to the Premier League, with the 20-year-old said to be available for around £15m; but according to the reputable transfer gurus at ‘gianlucadimarzio.com’, Real Madrid have joined in what looks to be a long list of clubs interested in the young attacker.

According to their report, Iturbe’s agent Gonzalo Mascardi is currently in Italy to meet with Verona officials over the immediate future of his client, who is set to return to Porto at the end of the current campaign unless an offer is made for his services.

Despite the player stating his love for Italy, Verona will surely struggle to persuade the youngster to stay in Serie A if the likes of Real Madrid and Liverpool decide to make a move.

What do you think? Would Iturbe be a success in the Premier League?
