A report from the trusted and reliable TMW website from Italy have cited French media outlet France Football claiming that Tottenham are weighing up a move for PSG midfielder Yohan Cabaye. Earlier in November we had reported that Cabaye could well be on his way out of the Paris based outfit and a likely move to the Premier League is set to happen.

Cabaye has struggled to muster a regular starting spot at PSG featuring in only 13 appearances this season. Manager Laurent Blanc has also not given the 28 year old an entire 90 minutes on the pitch, which highlights his lack of faith on the former Newcastle United player.

There is not doubt that Cabaye is a fantastic midfielder and he would be a terrific signing for Spurs in January. The White Hart Lane outfit are desperate for a top four finish while Arsenal are also interested in him for a long time. But any kind of a deal has failed to materialize for the Gunners. Cabaye is under contract in the French capital until 2017 and what happens in the Jnauary transfer window certainly is set to be exciting.
