With just three rounds of the domestic season now remaining, we take a look at the upcoming actions in the Premier League this weekend.

Rafa Benitez’s Newcastle went from 2-0 down at half time to salvage a 2-2 draw at Anfield last week. The Magpies now face Alan Pardew’s Crystal Palace at St James’ Park on Saturday, where three points will take them above the drop zone, should other results work in their favour.

At the top of the table, Leicester could clinch the Premier League title, should they win at Old Trafford against Manchester United on Sunday.

Everton vs Bournemouth

All the pre-match hype surrounding this fixture has been centred on Roberto Martinez’s future. There’s a protest planned for the visit of Bournemouth, with Everton fans asking for Martinez’s resignation. It seems like the former Wigan manager is running out of support at Merseyside, however, expect Everton to win this one.

Prediction: Everton 2-1 Bournemouth

Newcastle vs Crystal Palace

The Magpies face their former manager Pardew in a must win game at St James’ Park on Saturday. With safety all assured, Pardew’s central focus remains with FA Cup and therefore he may include changes.

Prediction: Newcastle 2-0 Crystal Palace

Stoke vs Sunderland

Another must-not-lose game in the battle for survival, and Sunderland should feel comfortable against Stoke who have conceded four goals in each of their last three games.

Prediction: Stoke 0-1 Sunderland

Watford vs Aston Villa

Certainly the most inconsequential fixture of the season, where one team has safely booked their place for next season while the other has been relegated. It will be interesting to see whether Villa can avoid their 11th successive defeat of the season.

Prediction: Watford 3-0 Aston Villa

West Brom vs West Ham

The Baggies have made it a habit of picking up points against the big teams. They have taken points against Spurs, Liverpool, Chelsea and Leicester and may get something against West Ham who still have top four ambitions.

Prediction: West Brom 1-1 West Ham

Arsenal vs Norwich

After drawing 0-0 with Sunderland in the last match, Arsenal will certainly not relish playing against another relegation threatened side. Planned protests by the home fans directed towards Arsene Wenger may prove a distraction, but expect the Gunners to see off the challenge from the Canaries, with Manchester United breathing down their neck for the top four spot.

Prediction: Arsenal 1-0 Norwich

Swansea vs Liverpool

Jurgen Klopp is expected to make a few changes to the starting line up, with Europa League semifinal at Anfield remains his top priority, however the Reds are likely to pick up full points on Sunday lunch time.

Prediction: Swansea 0-2 Liverpool

Manchester United vs Leicester

All eyes will be on Old Trafford, where a victory for Leicester would see them crowned as the new Premier League champions. However, United have the best record at home and would be looking to close the gap with the Gunners for the top four spot.

Prediction: Manchester United 1-1 Leicester

Southampton vs Man City

Manuel Pellegrini will be looking to rotate his squad, with City surely having one eye on the second leg of the Champions League semifinal with Real Madrid next week. It is a good time for the Saints to face them and may pick up valuable points on Sunday.

Prediction: Southampton 1-1 Manchester City

Chelsea vs Tottenham

The Blues will be looking to end their derby rival’s title challenge on Monday night, but they need to produce a strong performance to do so. The visitors have a terrible record at the Bridge and the absence of Dele Alli could further dampen their prospects.

Prediction: Chelsea 2-1 Spurs
