Luis SuarezArsenal have been linked with a sensational move to sign Liverpool striker Luis Suarez. A flurry of bets in Spain suggested Suarez was on the verge of a switch to the Emirates stadium, forcing the bookies to close the betting market for his next destination.

Real Madrid have given up any hope of signing Gareth Bale this summer. Reports from Spain have been backed up by several reports around the UK this morning, which means Tottenham Hotspur have another chance to keep Bale at White Hart Lane by securing a top four finish.

Chelsea are set to launch a £10 million bid for Roma midfielder Daniele De Rossi. The experienced Italian midfielder is thought to be a good alternative by Jose Mourinho for John Obi Mikel, who is on the verge of a move to Turkish side Galatasaray.

Chelsea have agreed a deal to sign Marco van Ginkel from Vitesse Arnhem. The 20-tear-old midfielder will complete an £8 million transfer once he has agreed personal terms and completed a medical. Chelsea beat off competition from Manchester United to sign him.
