Arsenal have agreed on a deal to sign Matteo Guendouzi from Lorient.

The move has been officially confirmed on the club’s official website.

As per the reports from Daily Mirror, the young midfielder will cost around £7million. The report adds that the 19-year-old has signed a five-year contract with the Gunners.

Apparently, Mislintat spotted the talented Frenchman but Unai Emery persuaded the player to sign for the English club.

Arsenal have been quite active in the market this summer and the fans will be delighted with the ambition. The likes of Bernd Leno, Sokratis, Lichtsteiner and Lucas Torreira have all signed for the London giants so far.

Guendouzi’s move was more or less confirmed last night when a leaked video showed the young midfielder completing the formalities of his Arsenal transfer.

The 19-year-old is expected to join up with the club’s youth team now. He will be hoping to prove his worth and force his way into Emery’s first team plans next season.
