Over the last few weeks, there have been reports that Jose Mourinho has agreed to take over at Manchester United at the end of the season.

Reports in Spain now claim that Manchester United are paying him around 20 million euros per season to take over from Louis Van Gaal.

Despite a massive spending spree, the Dutchman has failed to challenge for the Premier League title, let alone win the trophy. Manchester United are ready to make a change now and will hope that Mourinho can take them back to their former glories next season.

The Portuguese manager was sacked by Chelsea a few months ago and is out of a job right now.

The former Chelsea manager was keen on the Manchester United job and held talks with the Old Trafford hierarchy earlier this month.

The report also claims that Jorge Mendes is working to iron out the details of the deal through his office in London.

Earlier today it was reported in the English media that Mourinho could even take charge of Manchester United before the end of this month.
