West Ham striker Marko Arnautovic is happy with the business that his club have done so far in the transfer market this summer.

The Hammers have arguably had the second best luck in the transfer market this summer (after Liverpool) as they have managed to bring in the likes of Felipe Anderson, Issa Diop, Andriy Yarmolenko,Lukasz Fabianski, Ryan Fredericks, Jack Wilshere and Fabian Balbuena.

Fabianski who is a veteran of the Premier League, having had stints with Arsenal and Swansea could solve the goalkeeping problem which has been present at the club during the past few years.

Felipe Anderson also impressed on Saturday as he scored to help the East Londoners record a 2-1 pre-season win over Italian club Lazio.

There will be cause for optimism among fans of the club ahead of the new season and they will believe that the club could have what it takes to at least challenge for a place in the Europa League under new manager Manuel Pellegrini who has previously won the League with Manchester City.

Arnautovic who is expected to lead the line for the Hammers this season is excited about the club’s new signings.

He said: “I think the players who have come in have done a good job, but the most important thing is the Premier League and I hope they can show their quality there as well,”

“We had a good transfer window and there are a lot of challenges in each position.”
