Marcelo Bielsa signs Leeds United contract

Leeds United have completed the signing of Marcelo Bielsa as their manager.

According to BBC, the Argentine has already signed a contract with the Championship outfit and he will arrive in Leeds next week.

The former Athletic Bilbao manager has signed his deal with Leeds and he has emailed it to the club already.

Bielsa will replace Paul Heckingbottom as the Leeds United manager and the fans will be expecting a big season from him.

The 62-year-old is one of the best coaches in the world and he is very highly rated by the likes of Mauricio Pochettino and Pep Guardiola.

Leeds will be hoping to push for promotion next season and Bielsa can certainly make that happen.

The Whites’ ambitions convinced Bielsa to take over and it will be interesting to see how he reshapes Leeds’ squad and playing style over the next couple of months.

The Championship can be a very demanding league physically and Bielsa will need to be careful while implementing his high pressing style of football.
