Angel di Maria vowed to fight for his places next season at United, but he might not get the opportunity to do so, as reports from France suggest, the Argentine has already agreed a personal deal to join PSG.
PSG, fee from FFP regulations, are beginning to make their moves in the transfer market. They have already signed German goal keeper Kevin Trapp, but signing Di Maria, their long term target, would represent a big statement.
Di Maria joined United last season for a British record transfer fee but has had a tough first season at the club (below his standard). PSG continued to keep in touch with him and the French champions are now ready to make formal move to secure his services.
Louis van Gaal has said already that he would sanction a move if the player decides to leave. PSG are preparing a €60m bid for Di Maria, which should please United, who paid €75m to sign him from Real Madrid.
Le Parisian says PSG right back Gregory van der Wiel could be included as a part of the deal. That option looks increasingly unlikely with United signing Matteo Darmian from Torino.
