French champions Paris Saint-Germain have shifted their focus on signing Barcelona midfielder Sergio Busquests in the summer.
Busquests may be one of the most under-rated midfielders of this generation, but there are very few who can actually carry out his role better than him.
Barcelona have undergone a change in their transfer committee recently and the first major problem faced by the new sporting management is how to deal with PSG’s spectacular offer for the Spanish midfielder.
The Parisian club, owned by Qatari Nasser Al Khelaifi, is keen to secure his services, and would trade midfielder Badia in exchange for a total deal of €75m.
Never been a player from Barcelona had left for such ridiculous amount which might put the club consider the financial aspect of the deal, but at the same time he is one of the key players for this side and a probable future captain for the Blaugrana.
Busquests has yet to renew his contract with Barcelona and the latest offer from PSG would put the club in hurry to secure a new deal for him.
Catalan newspaper Sport are claiming that PSG are the only side who came up with an offer. Premier League heavy weights like Manchester United have also expressed their interest in signing the stylish midfielder.
Manchester City are also thought to be in the race as they are trying to find a suitable replacement for Yaya Toure.
