Cleverley worked with Martinez at Wigan Athletic during his loan spell in the 2010-11 season. The report also states that Everton are just one of a number of clubs who interested in Cleverley and have started negotiations with his representative.

Aston Villa too want to sign the English International on a permanent deal as his form was transformed by new manager Tim Sherwood who guided the Villains to the FA Cup final, where to lost to Arsenal at Wembley. The report also claims that Cleverley had said last week that he wanted to have his future resolved before he got married in this summer. The midfielder is expected to be given a decision about his next club in about two weeks time.

Cleverley, as it stands doesn’t feature in Louis Van Gaal’s plans at Old Trafford. The Dutch legend is desperate to get rid of the deadwood from his side and it is expected that he recruit heavily in the summer to mount a serious Premier League Title challenge next season.
