According to former FIFA agent Vincent Rodriguez, Manchester United have made a £90m bid for Real Madrid superstar Gareth Bale.
The Welsh international left Tottenham Hotspur and completed a £85m world record move to Spain in 2013. Since joining them, he had an impressive debut season with La Liga side as he won the Champions League and Copa del Rey in his debut season.
He has been a target for Red Devils even before he made a move to Real. After a season where he was heavily criticised by a section of the club supporters, he has been linked with a move away from Real.
Rodriguez claims United’s bid for Bale will be rejected by the Spanish side as they are keen on keeping him at the club.
“In Madrid today & I am well informed that Manchester United will offer £90m for Gareth Bale, Real Madrid will reject this bid,” Rodriguez, former FIFA agent tweeted.

He also went on to suggest that Real have identified Borussia Dortmund star Marco Reus as Bale’s replacement.
“Marco Reus is lined as Gareth Bale’s replacement, Madrid just want the right price negotiated for both players first.” he added in a tweet.

If there is any truth in Rodriguez’s tweet, it will be a massive encouragement for United and their fans. He is not the only one to say that United could be after Bale. British TV anchor Hayley McQueen also dropped a hint that the Welsh attacker could be a “surprise” target for United.
“Bale to Man United?! Stranger things have happened in football…… Good night all,” McQueen tweeted.

Louis van Gaal said his side will make a surprise signing and that will not be a striker. Can Bale be “surprise” signing? With Angel Di Maria set to be joining Paris Saint Germain, Real star can replace the Argentine winger at United.
It is a waste of money to buy Bale with that amount. Why can’t we buy Marco Reus, Gaitan and Otamendi with it. They will strengthen United more than Bale alone. Please stop this kind of joke.
Where did Gareth Bale who used to play for Tottenham Spurs go?; If he is that one playing at Real Madrid, I am very sorry to say that currently he shouldn’t even be sold over (50m pound) b’se his form has depreciated too much, but since Man Utd is a rich club, there is no problem when they pull out over(90m pound); I really admire watching LACAZATTE playing for Man Utd; Thanks.
