Manchester United star blasts ‘unfair’ Van Gaal for playing style

Van Gaal's treatment of players is a concern for Pedro

An unnamed Manchester United star has informed Telegraph than Louis Van Gaal’s playing style is unfair on him as well as the fans.

The Anonymous Manchester United star said to Jason Burt of Telegraph that he is struggling to replicate his usual form under the Dutchman and has blamed his negative footballing approach for that.

The Dutchman has been criticised week in week out for his dull footballing style and has been booed by the Old Trafford faithful as well.

The likes of Depay, Martial, Rooney have all struggled to perform at their best under Van Gaal.

Several fans have questioned the dip in form of proven attackers under the Manchester United manager and now it seems the players believe it as well.

Despite the poor style of play and lack of goals, United have done surprisingly well in the Premier League this season and are second in the table, just one point behind Leicester City.

Van Gaal’s men can go to the top of the table with a win this weekend when United play Leicester away from home.

Defensively Manchester United have been outstanding for over a year and that is the main reason why they managed to finish in top four last season and are challenging for the title this season.

However, United fans are used to seeing their side play attacking and adventurous brand of football under Sir Alex and are struggling to adapt to the Dutchman’s monotonous philosophy.
