Expect a massive summer for Manchester United next season, irrespective of the fact, they finish in top four or not.

David Moyes has had a turbulent first season at Manchester United thus far and although many fans are voicing their discontentment with his negative style, majority is willing to judge him over a considerable period of time, that too after given a hefty transfer war-chest.

It is quite clear that Manchester United will spend big in the summer. Central midfield is one of the areas that need reinforcement, and there could be more than one arrival in that department.

While there are talks about Moyes targeting German trio of Gundogan, Reus and Kroos, The Times are reporting that the Scot is also keeping a close eye on Real Madrid midfielder Luka Modric.

Moyes is thought to be a long admirer of Modric and wanted to buy him in the summer. However, that was last summer, when the former Spurs star was struggling to find regular games at the Bernabeu.

However, he is now one of the key players for Madrid under Carlo Ancelotti, and it will take more than £33m (the amount paid by Madrid for his signature) to lure him away. This season, Modric has made 23 appearances in the league for the Los Blancos and has scored one goal, bagging six assists to his name as well.
