Manchester United have agreed on a loan deal for the young English keeper Kieran O’Hara.

The 19-year-old physically imposing keeper has joined Morecambe on loan for the rest of the season.

At 6 ft 1 inches, O’Hara is a towering keeper and is an expert in dealing with set pieces.

Morecambe have confirmed the agreement on their official website earlier.

The young keeper joined Morecambe on loan in September earlier and then continued his development during the month-long switch to Stockport in November.

The youngster will get plenty of game time on loan  and that can only aid his development in the long run.

Fellow Manchester United Under-21s goalkeeper Joel Castro Pereira and Sam Johnstone are also out on loan, with Rochdale and Preston.

O’Hara joined Manchester United in 2012 and signed his first professional contract with the club in 2014.

The highly talented young keeper is yet to feature in the Premier League under Louis van Gaal and is clearly not in the Dutchman’s first team plans at Manchester United.
