The Premier League giants will pay a fee of €75m plus add ons for the former Chelsea star and are expected to announce the signing officially tomorrow.

Manchester City have been locked in talks with Wolfsburg for a few weeks now and it appears that both clubs have finally agreed on a fee.

Earlier in the window, the German outfit claimed that De Bruyne is not for sale at any price. However, the lack of interest shown in the window has prompted the Belgian to demand a move away from Wolfsburg.

De Bruyne had an unsuccessful spell in the premier League with Chelsea and is keen to prove his doubters wrong. The Belgian has been impressed with City’s ambitions in the window and is looking forward to a new challenge with the Premier League runners up.

De Bruyne will sign a long term deal at Etihad, worth around £230,000-a-week.

Manchester City have made several big money signings this window and De Bruyne is set to join the likes of Otamendi and Raheem Sterling at City this season.

The Citizens have started the season well and are determined to reclaim their Premier League crown.

The signing of De Bruyne, the best player in Germany last season, will certainly aid their cause.

Earlier this week, it was reported that Manchester United have entered the race for Kevin De Bruyne, but it seems the Old Trafford outfit left it too late.
