Xherdan Shaqiri is one player whose future is in huge doubt at Bayern Munich. The Swiss star has been linked with a move away from the Bavarian giants since the summer. Over the past few days we have been reporting that Shaqiri is set for a transfer move in the upcoming January transfer window. Yesterday’s late night report from Football Italia however has a new update on the player’s current situation.

According to the story, Shaqiri is set for crunch talks in December which would ultimately decide his future at the Allianz Arena outfit. Ulisse Savini a close representative claimed, “There will be a decisive meeting in December between the player, his brother, another agent and Bayern, to decide on Shaqiri’s future.”

When asked about Roma’s interest on the player, he said, “This summer he said he liked the scene with the Giallorossi, so it seems clear to me that he’d still be happy to play for Roma. But he won’t leave in January – he played in the Champions League and therefore can no longer be used for it.”

Liverpool are also interested in the player who can play on either wings or behind the main striker up front. The report also mentions that Bayern will ask for a transfer price of at least €20m given they signed the player for €13m from Basel in 2012.
