Liverpool plotting summer move for €21m Borussia Dortmund star?

German Media outlet Bild (reported by Daily Express) claims that Borussia Dortmund star Henrikh Mkhitaryan could leave the Bundesliga club at the end of the season. Dortmund are currently at the foot of the standings thanks to a shocking season and the Reds could move for the player they were earlier linked with.

Mkhitaryan’s agent Mono Raiola has also claimed that his client will consider his future in the summer, “Henrikh wants to leave Dortmund at the end of the season. We will have to wait and see what we can do.” The Armenian is valued at €21m as per Transfermarkt.

Elsehwere, Brendan Rodgers’ search for a quality goalkeeper has linked the Liverpool boss plotting a move for Inter Milan star Samir Handanovic who is looking to leave the San Siro club in the summer. The Slovenian was in talks to sign for Roma earlier but the transfer didn’t materialize.

Handanovic’s agent though has stated that his client wants to stay in Italy even if he switches loyalties. The goalkeeper’s agent agent Federico Pastorello told Tuttosport, “For now we are not talking about it, as he has a contract until June 2016. There were three very soft meetings with the Nerazzurri directors. What does Handanovic want to do? Well, he certainly loves Italy.”

Liverpool Echo have also revealed that any potential suitors for Malaga midfielder Ignacio Camacho will have to pay €20m to acquire the player’s services. The Spanish side’s sporting director Mario Husillos said, “I had just one call [about Camacho], not an offer, from Inter Milan. “[Vice-president Javier] Zanetti called me and I told him that for this window, they’d have to pay his buyout clause fee, which is €20m.
