It was another home win for Liverpool as they won comfortably against Sunderland on Sunday afternoon.
They would waste no time getting a lead as Fernando Torres scored in the 3rd minute to make it 1-0. Liverpool would add another 30 minutes later as Glen Johnson scored in the 32nd minute. Sunderland did not create a lot of chances and never seemed to have the belief they could come back after the early Torres goal.
Torres would add another in the 60th minute to seal the victory. The win puts Liverpool within four points of Tottenham but Spurs have a game in hand. They are one point above Manchester City, who will play tomorrow and also have a game in hand. Sunderland are in 13th place in the EPL table.
