According to Spanish newspaper AS, Juventus are pressing Champions League winners Real Madrid to sell young Spanish striker Alvaro Morata, who is also a Arsenal transfer target. The story claims that Morata’s representatives Juanma Lopez and Beppe Bozzo met Real general manager Jose Angel Sanchez to negotiate a deal for the player.

There have been three offers from the Bianconerri in the range of €15m to €25m with different bonus with a buy back option for the Madrid club is likely to be inserted.

The proposed move to Turin would be enticing for Morata, whose contract expires at the Bernebeu next season. It is believed that the 21 year old could earn around €2.2m a year. Juventus’ chief scout Javier Ribalta and manager Antonio Conte have already spoken to Morata about their project at the Old Lady.

Earlier this week, Wolfsburg Chairman Garcia Sanz and Sporting Director  Klaus Allofs had flown into the Spanish capital in their private flight to talk to Morata and change his mind on a possible transfer to the German club. The player’s agent however had rejected a possible full transfer and Real executives are expected to meet next week to decide the future of the dazzling striker.

It would be however a hammer blow to  Arsenal’s chances to sign the striker they have been long after. Arsene Wenger is desperate to acquire the services of a quality centre forward who can guide the Gunners to potential Premier League title challenge in the coming season.
