Jose Mourinho and Cuadrado: Player failed to make any impact last season

Chelsea have given Juventus the green signal to make a formal move for Columbian winger Juan Cuadrado.

According to reports from Gianluca di Marzio, Juventus, the Serie A champions, are ready to make a move for Cuadrado in the next few days.

Having found difficulties in signing Julian Draxler and Henrik Mkhitaryan from Schalke and Borussia Dortmund respectively, the Bianconeri have turned their attention to Cuadrado, who has failed to impress under Jose Mourinho since joining the club in the last January transfer window.

Chelsea are looking to sell him on loan at the moment. The Colombian’s agent Alessando Lucci is expected to be in London in the next few hours to discuss on the deal.

The Blues have bolstered their attacking department by signing Pedro Rodriguez from Barcelona earlier this week. Cuadrado would have likely to drop down the pecking orders, therefore, the loan move is ideal for all parties involved here.

Di Marzio are also reporting that Chelsea have submitted a formal offer for Paul Pogba, but it was rejected immediately. The Blues have reportedly offered 75m for the French international, but Juventus are reluctant to sell at the moment.

Meanwhile, Chelsea have confirmed the signing of Brazilian midfielder Kenedy from Fluminense. He will wear the no 16 shirt at Chelsea.
