Manchester United winger, Jesse Lingard, is all set to be rewarded with a new four-year deal at the club.

The 23-year-old has improved dramatically over the last year and is a key part of José Mourinho‘s first team plans. Lingard has also made his way into the England setup recently.

Daily Mail are reporting that United’s new offer will double Lingard’s current wages of around 30,000 pounds per week. Furthermore, the youngster will receive a new deal from club sponsor Adidas as well. As per the report, Adidas’ new deal will be worth a seven-figure sum.

The British winger scored in the FA Cup final for Manchester United last season and is considered as one of the finest young talents to emerge from Carrington in the recent years. Lingard has 18 months left on his current Manchester United contract and the extension should be finalised soon.

The Old Trafford outfit rewarded Marcus Rashford with a similar contract back in May following some impressive performances and the fans will be delighted to see them doing their best to protect another one of their talented youth players in Lingard.

Since the departure of Sir Alex Ferguson, United have failed to integrate their academy stars into their first team plans and the rise of Rashford and Lingard is a refreshing change.
