According to reports by the reputed Italian journalist Alfredo Pedulla, Inter Milan are plotting a summer move for Manchester United target Aleksandar Dragovic. The report claims that the San Siro outfit who have been linked with the Austrian defender for quite some time now want to sign a centre back to strengthen their back four in the coming transfer market.

It is believed that Inter manager Roberto Mancini who has the full backing of owner Erik Thohir wants to strengthen Inter in every department starting from the defense. Dragovic had earlier been linked with a move to Manchester United in the January transfer window.

We had earlier stated that the 23 year old could cost anything around €20m and that he could make the move. Dragovic made his name with a brilliant spell for FC Basel winning the Swiss League thrice and has been in fine form for Dinamo Kiev since his move. In 2012, Dragovic was declared the Swiss Golden Player Award for the Best defender.

Earlier Dragovic said in an interview that speculations regarding his future bounce off him, “Speculations are already long but they bounce off me. I am not getting influenced. As long as there is nothing on the table”

However, in the past he has claimed that he wants to follow in the footsteps of Nemanja Vidic. In an interview with TMW (relayed by the Daily Express), the defender had said,  “I dream to play in England. I hope to retrace the steps and the career of my model Nemanja Vidic of Manchester United.”
