Huddersfield Town are reportedly targeting Leicester City attacker Ahmed Musa.

Musa will not be short of offers after scoring twice for Nigeria during the World Cup as his country narrowly missed out on a place in the last-16 of the competition.

The 25-year-old will be a good signing for David Wagner’s side who will be hoping to once again avoid relegation from the top-flight.

Since joining the Foxes two-years ago for £16.6 million, Musa has struggled for consistency and has gone on to score just five goals from 33 matches.

He has two years left on his current deal at the King Power Stadium and manager Claude Puel has deemed him surplus to requirements.

From Leicester’s perspective, this is the perfect time to sell Musa especially considering that his performances were impressive during the World Cup.

Huddersfield could however face competition from the likes of Fulham and Turkish outfit Galatasary in the race to sign Musa.

Reports have suggested that Galatasary want to sign the player on loan with a view to making the deal permanent next summer.
