According to reports from ESPN, exciting Liverpool forward Harry Wilson could be set to leave the Anfield club on loan in the summer transfer window.

The 21-year-old is a highly exciting young talent and recently signed a new five-year deal following a loan spell at Hull last season.

He joined the Championship club in the January transfer window and made a huge impact for the Tigers, scoring seven goals and further laying off three for others.

With the current Liverpool squad choc-a-bloc with world class attacking talents, Jurgen Klopp will find it hard to draft him into the first team straightaway.

Instead, a loan move where he will be guaranteed regular game time would be perfect for all parties involved.

Wilson was left out of Klopp’s squad for the friendly against Bury on Saturday.

The German said about Wilson: “Harry has a lot of interest in him from different clubs, so no risk now. [Playing] with a little bit tired legs during the game, that makes no sense. So Harry has a little session at home.”

Leeds United should make a smart move to sign Wilson on loan. The Yorkshire club can guarantee him regular game time, while Klopp could be tempted to let the youngster progress under a top class manager like Marcelo Bielsa.

The Yorkshire club need reinforcement in the attacking areas of the pitch, and Wilson, who did so well for Hull City last season, should be a perfect candidate for them.

Wilson is a versatile winger who can play on both flanks. He is good at picking up intelligent passes, taking free-kicks, and always gets himself into a good position to score.
