Angel di Maria

In Spain, Angel di Maria moving out of Real Madrid is a huge story. The Argentina international who played probably the match-of-his-life against Atletico Madrid in the Champions League final last season (helping Madrid win their coveted La Decima) is facing an uncertain future at the club and is all set to leave in summer.

In the past one month his value had jumped almost twice, while Marca claimed last month that PSG were willing to pay €80m for his services. Manchester United probably won’t pay such ridiculous dosh but are ready to pounce on him, should an opportunity arise.

According to latest report from Catalan newspaper Sport (whenever Catalan press covers any story based on any Madrid player, we guys at Soccerlens tower see it with an eye of suspicion) PSG and Real Madrid have reached an agreement for Di Maria that allows to PSG to circumvent FFP rules. PSG will pay €10m now and then be forced to pay an extra €70m next summer. Florentino Perez and super-agent Jorge Mendes will finalize the deal today in New York and it could be official as soon as Tuesday.

They add in the end (as you can see in the snippet) that United aren’t completely out of the race too and the Red Devils will try to hold talks with Madrid in New York.
