Brazilian forward, Roberto Firmino, allegedly has a €98m release clause in his Liverpool contract, according to a report published in Le Soir as part of the Football Leaks series.

The most interesting part of his clause is that any club in this world can sign him if they meet his buy-out clause, except Premier League rivals Arsenal.

The newspaper hasn’t attached any copy of Firmino’s contract to prove the existence of an anti-Arsenal clause, but in the paper they mentioned a line – “if the club that is interested is not Arsenal” – which seems to have been taken directly from the contract.

The newspaper also suggests that no matter what the amount Arsenal offers, the Gunners still won’t be able to sign him. The rule does not apply for any other club.

If such a clause indeed exists, it shows that Liverpool do not want to do any business with Arsenal, following the Luis Suárez transfer saga between the two clubs in recent history.

Moving on, Chelsea superstar, Eden Hazard, received a €2.4m bonus after winning the 2015 Player of the Year Award, according to Le Soir.

The newspaper appears to have obtained Eden Hazard’s first Chelsea contract, and claim that Chelsea paid €35m and not €40m as a transfer fee to Lille in 2012.

Le Soir also sheds light on the contract of Tottenham’s highly rated Belgian defender, Toby Alderweireld. According to the newspaper, the defender earns a salary of €3.1m Euros per year, and has a €30m release clause stipulated in his contract.
