Borussia Dortmund general manager, Michael Zorc has issued a ‘hands off’ warning over striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

The Gabon International has been linked with a move to the Premier League this summer with Arsenal interested. Arsene Wenger is keen to land a striker this summer and was willing to part with £28m to land the Dortmund hit-man.

Aubameyang has also been linked with the likes of Liverpool and Real Madrid.

Following the departure of Klopp, Dortmund were primed for a mass exodus. However, it seems that the German giants are set to keep hold of their star players this summer.

Zorc claimed that Aubameyang is not for sale and that the former Milan man will stay at the Westfalen for another season atleast.

“Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is a player of Borussia Dortmund and we do not have any plan to sell him. That’s a fact”, he said.

Aubameyang has had two outstanding seasons in the Bundesliga and has attracted a lot of interest from the Premier League, mainly because of his explosive playing style which suits the league.

Aubameyang’s pace, finishing and link up play will fit right in at Arsenal, should Wenger manage to get his man. However, with Zorc claiming that the player is set to stay, it might be tough considering Dortmund are not in need of a cash injection.

Further, Dortmund are willing to let go of Gundogan and therefore it makes little sense for them to cash in on Aubameyang, their best forward in the same window.
