Neymar and Jordan team up for new, kickass boots

Neymar Jr and Michael Jordan have teamed up with Nike’s blessing to create a NJR x JORDAN collection.

The new boots, which Neymar could well wear at the Olympics this summer, have Jordan’s iconic number 23 etched into the heel and the former Chicago Bulls star’s ‘V’ logo both on the outside and inside of the shoe.

The initials ‘DL’ – those of Neymar’s son – and a miniature Brazilian flag are also included on the laces in the trendy design.

Neymar, as you’re probably aware, is resting from Copa America thanks to 10 months of being awesome for Barcelona and because Brazil, having won many Copa Americas but no Olympic gold, are keen on the August event given it’s being played in Brazil.

Copa America 2016 Squads

Here’s a full list of all 16 teams’ 23-man squads for Copa America 2016.

Kaka had to drop out of Brazil’s squad due to an injury sustained on Wednesday, and was replaced by Ganso. With no Neymar, all eyes will be on Willian and Coutinho, although my money is on Gabriel (Gabigol) stirring things up before June is over.

Argentina are at full-strength with Messi, Aguero and Di Maria all expected to start. The defence is a bit suspect but then again it shouldn’t matter. If nothing works, they have butthole-tearing Mascherano and Higuain, a man in the best form of his career.

And the less said about the hosts, the better.
