Chelsea are set to be without Thibaut Courtois, Willian and Pedro Rodriguez during their derby game against Arsenal this weekend.

Jose Mourinho confirmed during his pre-match presser that Pedro and Willian will join Courtois in the sidelines for now.

Furthermore, Jose Mourinho has also outlined his January transfer plans and has ordered his scouts to prepare a shortlist of replacements for Branislav Ivanovic.

The Serbian defender was one of the most reliable full backs in the league last season, but has started this season miserably. Although Mourinho stuck with Ivanovic in the Premier league games, waiting for the player to justify his faith, Ivanovic has struggled to recapture his scintillating form.

Mourinho has now asked his scouts to find him a replacement in January.

New signing, Baba Rahman made his Champions League debut with Chelsea and looked extremely assured at the back. The African full back provided ample defensive cover on the left as Azpilicueta returned to his normal position as the right sided full back.

It seems Jose is keen to see out this period with Baba Rahman and Azpilicueta as his full backs and sign another full back in January. The Blues have been linked with Valencia’s Jose Luis Gaya, who is valued at around 40 million euros.
