Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is apparently keen to pull the trigger on Jose Mourinho but the Russian is concerned by the huge payoff the Portuguese will walk away with.

According to the length of his contract, Chelsea will have to fork out 30 million pounds in order to sack Jose Mourinho and Abramovich knows it will be a big blow financially.

ESPN claim that several players have lost faith in the manager and the owner realises that is is best to part ways now but the financial reasons have influenced his decision.

Apart from the likes of Cahill, Terry, Azpilicueta and Costa most players have turned on Mourinho due to his methods and his public criticism of his players.

Rumours suggest that despite the financial issues, Mourinho is running out of time and could be sacked if he does not win the game against Liverpool on Sunday.

New Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is still looking for his first win and if he manages to get three points at Stamford Bridge, it could be the end of Jose Mourinho.

The Portuguese is already speaking to two European giants and is ready to manage them if Chelsea decide to part ways this season.
