Cesc Fabregas, the 27-year-old Spanish midfielder, wants a move to Premier League. Why? Because, he is unwanted at Barcelona. He is up for sale and the Catalan giants would be happy to do a business for him in the region of £30m or 40m!

So, who is to bell the cat? Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United, Manchester City or is it Liverpool?

All these Premier League clubs have been linked with the player recently. Tony Barrett of The Times writes that although Brendan Rodgers highly rates the player, but Liverpool are not interested in him.

The Telegraph reports as well that although Arsenal has first option to match his value, but even they don’t want him as well.

Now, see the conflicting report: Catalan press Sport reports that Fabregas could be heading towards Manchester City, and that a possible agreement has been reached between the two clubs.

Another Spanish newspaper Marca (usually close to Real Madrid) are saying both Manchester United and Chelsea have lodged formal bids for him. They report Manchester United have made the official move, putting a contract offer that would pay 6m a year for Fabregas.

Chelsea are also in the race and would be keen to offer €5m a year to the Spaniard. They say two things are in favour of the Blues – a) Cesc wants to stay in London and b) his partner has a spectacular home in the British capital.

Who will sign Fabregas in the end? City? Chelsea or Manchester United?
