West Ham have cmpleted the signing of Andriy Yarmolenko from German club Borussia Dortmund, the club have officially confirmed.

The Ukrainian has taken to social networking site Twitter to express his reaction after making the move. He wrote:

The 28-year-old wide forward has signed a four-year contract with the Hammers. According to reports from Sky Sports, the Premier League club agreed a £17.5m deal with Dortmund earlier this week.

Yarmolenko then underwent a medical at West Ham’s training camp in Switzerland earlier this week before completing the move.

He becomes Manuel Pellegrini’s fifth signing since taking over as West Ham manager.

The club have recruited Jack Wilshere (free), Ryan Fredericks (free), Lukasz Fabianski (£7m, Swansea) and Issa Diop (£22m, Toulouse) already.
