Porto striker Jackson Martinez, who is a reported target of Chelsea and Arsenal, have ruled out any possible move in the January transfer window.

The 27-year-old has netted 38 goals in 44 appearances since making the switch to the Estadio do Dragao in 2012 has been in prolific form this season as well, netting 12 goals in 14 league appearances thus far.

Martinez himself revealed his desires of playing in the Premier League in future, claiming he ‘rooted for Chelsea and Arsenal’ when he was a kid.

The Gunners may need a striker following the injury to Theo Walcott and are reportedly exploring several options elsewhere. Likewise, Chelsea, who have re-signed Nemanja Matic from Benfica may look to bolster their strike department as well, though Jose Mourinho insisted there is no immediate need to change the strike set-up at the Bridge.

Martinez, in an interview with Portugal newspaper O Jogo claims that he will not move in the January transfer window, rather will continue till the end of the season with Porto and is committed to the project at the moment.
